The Presidency is set to roll out a new Government Accountability Series aimed at strengthening transparency and public engagement in governance.

The inaugural session of the series will be hosted by the Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, who is also the Member of Parliament for Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese in the Central Region.

The event is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, and will be presented by the Presidency Communications team.

According to information from the Presidency, the Government Accountability Series is designed to provide regular briefings on government policies, programmes, and performance, while offering the public an opportunity to better understand decisions taken at the highest levels of government.

The session will be broadcast on official government platforms, including @GhanaPresidency and ISD Ghana, as part of efforts to enhance access to information and promote open governance.

The initiative forms part of the government’s broader commitment to accountability, transparency, and effective communication with citizens.
