Ghanaian actress Emelia Brobbey has expressed frustration over the barrage of allegations and backlashes she has faced recently.

This comes in light of fresh claims against her from numerous individuals on social media, raising concerns about her past experiences in the UK, among others.

Recently, some people have alleged that Emelia Brobbey mistreated a friend who was innocently caught up in her (Emelia)’s theft case, which reportedly led to the wrongful arrest and deportation of that friend, Akua Agyeiwaa.

Akua was jailed and sent back to Ghana as a result of the incident.

Still pained by the incident after several years, family members and friends of Akua, in a recent development, took to social media to express their feelings of betrayal, alleging that Emelia abandoned her during her arrest.

Following that, new allegations have emerged, linking her to a sex scandal involving some of her colleagues.

But in an interview on ‘Fakye Showbiz ‘on November 3, 2024, Emelia Brobbey has addressed these claims, asserting that those trying to tarnish her hard-earned reputation will face serious consequences, as she has left everything in God’s hands.

“If you become too friendly, people start to take you for a fool. If you do otherwise, the same people will call you names. As a human, one thing you shouldn’t do is lie, knowing the impact it can have on someone. God should deal with anyone spreading lies to ruin my name,” she stated.

When asked whether she had any disputes with actor Frank Nero who raised sexual allegations against her, Emelia clarified, “I don’t want to have any conversation concerning him, but I don’t have any problem with him. We are cool.”

The sexual allegations

Recently, Frank Nero claimed in a TikTok live video that he has had sexual relations with Emelia Brobbey.

This allegation has since sparked a flurry of reactions from netizens, who have shared varying opinions about the actress.
