Father’s Day got even sweeter this year as GhanaWeb, in partnership with Promasidor Ghana, Twellium Ghana and AH Hotel, crowned the winners of the “Dad & Me Challenge” during the exciting “A Walk With Dad” health walk at Peduase on June 14, 2025.
The challenge, which encouraged Ghanaians to share their most fun and touching moments with their dads, brought in hilarious and emotional entries — from dance battles and cooking fails to heartfelt singing duets.
After a tough deliberation, the judges picked the most memorable submissions, and the lucky winners were rewarded in style at the Lodge Tavern in Peduase, where the health walk ended in a vibrant celebration.
Prizes included a luxurious weekend getaway at AH Hotel, a stash of Twisco and Cowbell goodies from Promasidor, and dining vouchers for Accra City Hotel.
The winners couldn’t hide their excitements as they collected their rewards.
The “A Walk With Dad” event was aimed at celebrating Father’s Day by promoting family bonding and community togetherness.
The event featured a health walk starting at the Ayi Mensah Toll Booth and ending at the Lodge Tavern.
Hiplife star and fatherhood advocate, Okyeame Kwame, energized the crowd by leading an aerobics session, while Chief Executive Officer of the Atta Mills Institute, Koku Anyidoho, also joined.
Participants enjoyed a delicious breakfast sponsored by Promasidor, ensuring a well-organized experience.
