Excitement is building across the country as the Black Stars prepare to face Chad on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Ndjamena.

Ghana currently sits top of their group with 15 points after six games, and fans believe a convincing win over Chad would boast their chances of qualifying.

Many supporters, speaking to GhanaWeb Sports have tipped Otto Addo’s side to deliver a heavy victory given the gulf in quality between the two teams.

A win on Thursday would allow the Black Stars to put one foot firmly into the next phase, easing pressure ahead of their September 8 fixture, a home clash against Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium.

That game is already being billed as the decider for group supremacy, but fans argue that Ghana’s strong form gives them the edge.

With Antoine Semenyo, Mohammed Kudus and Thomas Partey all in camp, optimism is soaring.
