Talented Ghanaian teenager, Clinton Duodu, scored with a stunning finish on Saturday, March 29, helping Apollon to earn a point from their clash against APOEL in the Cypriot top-flight league.

The former Bechem United prodigy started the Week 28 encounter for his team and operated in the attack.

Just four minutes into the first half, Clinton Duodu ran behind the defense of APOEL to latch onto a long pass before lobbing the goalkeeper to find the back of the net.

The early equaliser put his team in control, setting the tone for the visitors to dominate the first half.

Unfortunately, Apollon failed to take advantage and even wasted a penalty kick in the 38th minute when Quentin Boisgard misfired from 12 yards in the 38th minute.

After recess, APOEL came into the game strongly and put up a fight to avoid a defeat.

The efforts of the team paid off in the 56th minute, with Marius Corbu scoring to force the match to end in a 1-1 draw.

Following his goal on Saturday, Clinton Duodu has now scored two goals and has three assists to his name after making 13 appearances in the Cypriot First Division.
