SK Slovan Bratislava have secured the Slovak Nike Liga title for a record 24th time after edging DAC 1904 1-0 on Saturday May 2, sealing the crown with two matches to spare.
The triumph was powered in part by three Ghanaian players; Rahim Ibrahim, Zuberu Sharani and Kelvin Ofori—who all contributed to the club’s successful campaign.
Rahim Ibrahim has been a key figure throughout the season, making 26 appearances while registering two goals and one assist, playing an important role in midfield.
Kelvin Ofori also made his mark during his loan spell, featuring 14 times and contributing two goals and one assist before the end of his stint with the club.
Zuberu Sharani, who recently switched international allegiance to Togo, added depth to the squad with 12 appearances across all competitions, including five in the league.
With the title secured, Slovan Bratislava have booked their place in next season’s UEFA Champions League, where they will enter at the first qualifying round as they aim to make an impact on the continental stage.
The White Hawks will hope to make all the way to the league phase of the biggest European club competition just as they did in the 2024/25 season
