A Ghanaian woman has publicly exposed her husband’s disappearance after he allegedly abandoned her and their two children nine years ago. The man, identified as Henry Appiah, had told his wife he was traveling to India for a two-week technology course but never returned home.

According to the distressed wife, who shared evidence of their marriage from ICGC Royal Temple in Kumasi, the couple had two young children when Mr. Appiah left in January 2016. Their youngest child was only six months old at the time, while their eldest was two years old.

The wife has revealed through a self-recorded video that her husband has been secretly visiting Ghana without contacting his family. She supported her claims by showing photographs from their wedding and thanksgiving service as proof of their legal marriage.

The frustrated mother stated that she had protected her husband’s reputation by keeping silent for nearly a decade. She explained that their youngest child has never met their father, while the eldest barely remembers him.

Mr. Appiah has allegedly blocked all communication channels with his wife, making it impossible for her to reach him directly. The woman mentioned that she had been patient throughout the years, hoping for his return or explanation.

The wife has now issued a 24-hour ultimatum to her absent husband to make contact with her. She emphasized that their marriage was properly documented with a certificate from their church ceremony.

The case has sparked discussions about family abandonment in Ghanaian communities. Local social media users have begun sharing the story to help locate Mr. Appiah.

The woman’s video message included wedding photographs and documentation to substantiate her claims. She maintained that she was breaking her silence because the situation had become unbearable.

The incident has raised concerns about the impact of prolonged absence on family structures. Community members have expressed support for the woman’s quest to reconnect with her husband.
