Ross County FC fans have reason to cheer as their talented Ghanaian goalkeeper, Jordan Amissah, has inked a fresh three-year contract, keeping him with the club through the summer of 2027.

The 23-year-old, who first joined the Scottish side on a short-term deal on December 6, 2023, has quickly proven his worth. In just 12 appearances, Amissah has notched four clean sheets, showcasing his skill between the posts.

Manager Don Cowie couldn’t hide his excitement about the extension.

“We are delighted that Jordi has extended his stay at the club by signing a new deal. He has been a great addition to the group since joining in December and has given us excellent competition in the goalkeeping area,” Cowie said.

Amissah’s journey to this moment traces back through the youth academies of German powerhouses like Holsterhausen Herne, VfL Bochum, Schalke 04, and Borussia Dortmund before he crossed to England in 2018 with Sheffield United’s youth setup. Now, he’s carving out a promising path in Scotland.
