Young Ghanaian talent, Eric Afrifa Mensah, has secured a significant role in an upcoming high-profile Nollywood production.

Mensah will portray the character “Segun” in the film, set to have its historic first screening at the Edo State Government House.

The movie, produced in partnership with the Edo State Government and powered by Akogun Multimedia, features an impressive ensemble cast.

It includes celebrated Nollywood veterans such as Alex Osifo, Jude Orhorha, and Yemi Blaq.

The project also highlights cross-border collaboration, featuring Ghanaian actors Nana Yaa Agyare and Destiny Austine Omon.

Omon, a Nollywood actor based in Ghana, also serves as the film’s writer and producer.

Directed by Davison Izegaegbe, the film is described as one of the biggest “ghetto” themed productions in Nollywood.

The choice to premiere it at the Edo State Government House underscores the project’s importance and the government’s support for the creative arts industry.

This role marks a significant step for young Eric Afrifa Mensah, positioning him within a major pan-African cinematic collaboration between Ghana and Nigeria.
