Ambassador Nancy Q Sam, Tourism Ambassador for Miami, Florida, USA, led a high-level delegation from Miami Gardens to Ghana to explore investment opportunities in the country’s burgeoning tourism sector.

The delegation’s visit included a tour of Ghana’s ports and harbours, underscoring the strategic importance of building sustainable partnerships between Ghana and Miami.

The mission, aimed at strengthening trade and investment ties between Ghana and the United States, particularly in tourism, arts and culture, featured prominent figures such as Professor Erhabor Ighodaro, former Vice Mayor of Miami Gardens and current President of the Miami Gardens Chamber of Commerce, and Shannan Ighodaro, President and Founder of the global women’s empowerment movement, 100+ Women of Virtue International.

During the visit, Ambassador Sam emphasised the potential for collaboration that would boost Ghana’s tourism industry and create opportunities for US investors in one of West Africa’s most dynamic destinations.

The mission is expected to pave the way for long-term partnerships, contributing to Ghana’s economic growth and opening new frontiers for US-Ghana relations.
