The Black Stars face Mali in a crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, 2025.

The team is poised for victory after recording a disappointing 1-1 draw against Chad on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Ghana will have to win the game against Mali to extend their lead on the table as Madagascar and Comoros are closing the points gap in Group I ahead of the final two games in October 2025.

In Group I, Ghana lead with 16 points after seven games, Comoros are second with 15 points, Madagascar are third with 13 points and Mali lie fourth with 12 points.

Mali are coming into the game with renewed energy following their 3-0 win over Comoros on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

The Accra Sports Stadium is expected to fill up to capacity as Ghanaians rally behind the Black Stars for an emphatic victory.
