The Security and Operations Unit of the Ghana Prisons Service has organised a Cell Extraction Technique (CET) training exercise for recruits undergoing training at the Prisons Officers Training School (POTS).
The exercise was aimed at strengthening the recruits’ operational preparedness by equipping them with the necessary skills and techniques to effectively handle challenging situations that may arise within prison holding facilities.

It also sought to familiarise the trainees with potential operational challenges and prepare them to respond professionally, safely and effectively while ensuring the maintenance of security and order.
