In a bold statement, Prophet Kofi Oduro, the founder and leader of Alabaster International Ministry, has issued a grave warning to President Nana Akufo-Addo, stating that Ghana is heading toward “destruction” if the President does not change course. Prophet Oduro called on President Akufo-Addo to repent and reconsider his leadership actions to prevent dire consequences for the nation.

Speaking during a recent sermon, Prophet Oduro expressed concern over the state of Ghana, criticizing what he described as moral and ethical lapses within the country’s leadership. He called for a return to principles of integrity and transparency, urging the President to make significant changes in governance and to focus on the wellbeing of ordinary Ghanaians.

“We are heading for destruction if this current administration, led by President Akufo-Addo, does not change its ways. There is a need for repentance, a deep and sincere shift from the current path, in order for God’s favor to return to this nation,” he said.

The outspoken prophet emphasized that this warning was not directed only at the President but to all leaders and stakeholders in the political space, urging them to act in the nation’s interest rather than focusing on personal gain. According to him, the future of Ghana depends on the willingness of leaders to make sacrifices and prioritize national unity, justice, and accountability.

Prophet Oduro has been known for his frank sermons and has previously critiqued government actions that he believes are harmful to the moral and social fabric of the country. His recent statement comes amid growing public concerns over economic challenges, corruption, and perceived mismanagement in various sectors of the government.

While the President has not responded directly to Prophet Oduro’s remarks, the call for repentance has resonated with some Ghanaians, with discussions intensifying over the need for transparency and accountability in governance. Prophet Oduro urged Ghanaians to remain prayerful and hopeful, stressing that with concerted action, positive changes could still be achieved for the country.

As public sentiment sways amidst economic and social challenges, Prophet Oduro’s message serves as a reminder of the significant role of faith-based voices in Ghana’s social and political landscape.
