FIFA’s introduction of a new USD 60 Supporter Entry Tier has renewed hope for Ghanaian fans seeking to watch the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, following the release of ticket prices for Ghana’s group-stage matches.

The published pricing shows that standard tickets for Ghana’s games remain expensive. For the opening Group L match against Panama on June 17, the lowest Category Three ticket is priced at USD 140, rising to USD 380 and USD 450 for higher categories.

Ghana’s second group match against England on June 23 is even costlier, with the cheapest ticket set at USD 220, while the final group fixture against Croatia on June 27 starts at USD 180.

For many Ghanaian supporters, attending all three group matches under the standard pricing structure would be financially demanding, even before accounting for travel, accommodation and movement across host cities in North America.

The figures have reinforced concerns that the tournament could be out of reach for large sections of the fan base.

FIFA’s newly announced Supporter Entry Tier, available exclusively to fans of qualified nations and distributed through Participating Member Associations, offers a possible solution.

At USD 60 per match, the tier is designed to improve affordability and reward loyal supporters.

For Ghanaian fans, the impact of this development will depend largely on how the Ghana Football Association allocates and manages the tickets. If effectively implemented, the initiative could allow more supporters to follow the Black Stars against Panama, England and Croatia at football’s biggest stage.
