The league is scheduled to kick off on August 23, 2025

The 2025/26 Ghana Beach Soccer Premier League is scheduled to kick off on August 23, 2025.

The league will feature matches at four exciting coastal venues: Ada Beach Soccer Arena, Keta Beach Soccer Arena, Laboma Beach Resort in La and Cheetah Beach Soccer Arena in Senya, Central Region.

The league’s expansion to four coastal venues showcases beach soccer’s growing presence along Ghana’s coastline, bringing the sport closer to diverse communities and fans nationwide.

According to GBC Sports, fourteen clubs have been grouped into two competitive zones, intensifying the battle for the championship title.

The defending champions, Havedzi Mighty Warriors FC, who secured a commanding 5–2 victory over Layoca in the 2024/25 final, face stiff competition as rival teams prepare to challenge their dominance.

The league’s structure encourages regional rivalries and showcases emerging talent from across the coastal belt.

The Ghana Football Association has been instrumental in the league’s growth, offering crucial logistical and financial support to clubs.

This backing has helped to professionalise beach soccer, with initiatives like referee, coach training programs and plans for televised matches boosting the league’s visibility and governance.

The GFA’s commitment reflects beach soccer’s rising stature within Ghana’s sporting landscape.

Beach soccer has experienced significant growth over the past decade, with notable increases in participation, better organisation, and more media coverage.

The league’s coastal venues provide perfect playing conditions while boosting local economies and tourism, creating an electric atmosphere at each match.
