Ghana have arrived in Stuttgart ahead of their next international friendly against Germany, as they look to bounce back from a difficult outing in their previous game.

The Black Stars were handed a heavy 5-1 defeat by Austria last Friday, March 27, at the Ernst Happel Stadium, in a result that exposed several weaknesses within the squad.

Despite showing some promise in the first half, the team struggled after the break and will now be eager to respond strongly this time around.

Attention now turns to Monday’s clash against Germany at the MHP Arena, with the match forming a key part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

The fixture presents another high-level test for the four-time African champions as they continue to assess their readiness for the tournament.

Head coach Otto Addo and his technical team are expected to use the coming days to address the issues identified in the Austria defeat, particularly in the second half where the team’s intensity and organisation dropped.

The players are set to ramp up training sessions over the weekend in Stuttgart, working on both tactical adjustments and physical sharpness ahead of the game.

The match against the four-time world champions and will provide an opportunity for the team to restore confidence and show a better level of performance against one of the world’s top sides.

With the World Cup drawing closer, every game becomes crucial, and the Black Stars will be determined to put in a much-improved display as they continue their build-up to the global showpiece.
