Caleb Ekuban has been offered a two-year contract extension by Genoa CFC as the Italian side moves to secure the future of the Ghana international.

The 31-year-old forward, whose current deal expires at the end of the season, has been presented with a proposal that would keep him at the club until the summer of 2028. Genoa are keen to avoid losing the experienced attacker on a free transfer following his steady contributions in recent campaigns.

Ekuban joined Genoa in 2021 from Trabzonspor and has since become an important figure in the squad. This season, he has made 20 appearances in Serie A, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Across all competitions, the former Chievo Verona and Leeds United forward has amassed 117 appearances for Genoa, registering 11 goals and 11 assists.

Beyond his on-field contributions, the club values Ekuban’s leadership and experience within the dressing room. At international level, he has earned 13 caps for Ghana’s Black Stars, scoring three goals since his debut in 2019.
