Turkish Super Lig giants, Galatasaray have taken to social media to mock Liverpool after beating them in the ongoing 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League season.

Galatasaray on matchday two of the ongoing Champions League season defeated the English champions 1-0 at the Rams Park in Istanbul.

After a keenly contested game on Tuesday, September 30, Nigerian international, Victor Osihmen scored the only goal in the game from the penalty spot to secure the 3 points for the home team.

Reacting to the victory, Galatasaray used Liverpool’s motto “You’ll never walk alone” to mock them on social media.

“You’ll never walk alone, but sometimes you walk out without points,” Galatasaray posted on social media with the picture of Liverpool defender, Milos Kerkez.

Galatasaray who lost their first game 5-1 to Germain side Eintracht Frankfurt are not 18th on the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League group stage table with 3 points.
