    Friday night at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden, live on ESPN, MVP’s unified super featherweight world champion Alycia “The Bomb” Baumgardner (18-1, 7 KOs) delivered a commanding performance against South Korea’s Bo Mi Re Shin (19-4-3, 10 KOs) successfully defending her unified 130lb WBA, WBO, and IBF world titles in a 10-round bout contested with equal rules, three-minute rounds. Baumgardner established clear control from the opening bell and maintained it throughout, showcasing her precision, efficiency, and ring IQ. In a post-fight interview with renowned combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani, Baumgardner called out Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, thanked her supporters, and affirmed she will be back in the ring soon. MVPW-02 marked the inaugural U.S. event for MVPW and streamed live on ESPN and the ESPN App.

    In the co-main event, Pipiwai, New Zealand’s Lani “The Smiling Assassin” Daniels (12-4-2, 2 KOs) defeated Patterson, New Jersey’s and MVP’s Shadasia “The Sweet Terminator” Green (16-2, 11 KOs) to win the IBF, WBO, and Ring super middleweight world titles. The hard-fought, back-and-forth battle saw both fighters trading heavy shots and momentum throughout. Daniels turned the tide in her favor late in the 8th round before the referee stopped the contest at 0:32 in the ninth round, awarding Daniels a TKO victory to become the new IBF, WBO, and Ring super middleweight champion and a three-division world champion. Green received immediate medical attention in the ring and was taken to the hospital for testing. In a post-fight interview with Helwani, Daniels wished Green well and thanked her global supporters.

    Also on the main card, MVP’s Puerto Rican sensation Krystal Rosado (9-1, 2 KOs) faced Mexico City’s Fernanda Reyes (8-1) in an 8-round bantamweight bout at 118 lbs. The matchup delivered high energy throughout, with both fighters engaging in a competitive, action-driven contest and exchanging power punches across all eight rounds. After going the distance, Rosado earned a unanimous decision victory (79-73, 80-72, 78-74), reinforcing her continued rise in the division.

    Opening the main card live on ESPN, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, MVP’s Nat “No Love” Dove (8-0-1, 2 KOs) faced two-time title contender Maria “La Imparabla” Micheo (14-7, 8 KOs) in an 8-round flyweight bout at 112 lbs. The bout was closely contested from start to finish, with both fighters trading momentum throughout. After 8 full rounds, Dove’s consistent and powerful body shots proved to be the difference on the judges’ scorecards, earning her a split decision win over Micheo (75-77, 77-75×2).

    In the preliminary card headliner, MVP’s US Olympian and amateur world champion Jahmal Harvey (3-0, 2 KO) faced Tucson, Arizona’s Daniel Lugo (6-5, 2 KOs) in a 6-round lightweight bout at 135 lbs. Harvey delivered a commanding performance, showcasing his pedigree and control throughout the bout. A vicious left hook dropped Lugo at 1:32 in the fifth round, prompting a TKO stoppage and preserving Harvey’s undefeated record.

    Bellport, New York’s Alex “El Toro” Vargas (15-0, 5 KOs) defeated then-undefeated Chicago, Illinois’ Rani Jalomo (7-1-1, 4 KOs) by unanimous decision after an 8-round junior welterweight bout at 140 lbs (78-74×2, 79-73). Vargas controlled the action throughout, landing the more effective shots, particularly establishing his presence early in the fight. The victory maintains Vargas’ undefeated record while handing Jalomo the first loss of his professional career.

    Also on the preliminary card, Dunkirk, New York’s Elon “El Leon” De Jesus (12-1-2, 8 KOs) earned a unanimous decision victory (80-71, 78-73×2) over Plymouth, England’s Connor Adaway (10-3-1, 4 KOs) after eight full rounds in a junior featherweight bout at 122 lbs. Opening the preliminary card, MVP’s Raquel “Pretty Beast” Miller (14-0, 6 KOs) defeated 2x Brazilian Olympian Adriana “Pitbull” Araújo (6-4, 1 KO) by unanimous decision (58-55, 58-56×2) after a 6-round super middleweight bout at 168 lbs. The victory extends Miller’s undefeated record and marked her first appearance in the ring in three years.
