Majority of the Black Stars players have arrived in Morocco ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic (CAR) on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare and Medeama’s Prince Owusu were among the first players to arrive at the team hotel in Casablanca.
Elisha Owusu, Gideon Mensah, Kwasi Sibo, Joseph Annan, Kudus Mohammed, Brandon Thomas-Asante, and Prince Owusu have also reported to the team’s camp.

In-form players including Fatawu Issahaku, Antoine Semenyo, Kudus Mohammed, and captain Jordan Ayew arrived on Monday, October 6, 2025.
The players were beaming with smiles upon arrival at the team hotel in Morocco, where they were welcomed by the technical team led by head coach Otto Addo.
The remaining players are expected to join the squad in time to prepare for the crucial match, with hopes of securing a victory to boost their qualification chances.
The Black Stars were initially scheduled to play at the El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida, but the match will now be held at the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes in Morocco.
The game is set for Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 16:00 GMT.
