Gastro Feastival isn’t just an event, it’s a movement that’s reconnecting Ghanaians with the soil Gastro Feastival isn’t just an event, it’s a movement that’s reconnecting Ghanaians with the soil

The countdown is on. In a few weeks, Accra’s air will be thick with irresistible aromas, laughter, and a shared sense of discovery as The Palms Convention Centre at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel transforms into a vibrant culinary wonderland!

This Farmers’ Day Weekend (Dec 5–6, 2025), Charterhouse Productions—the creative powerhouse behind Ghana’s biggest entertainment milestones—is stirring up something entirely new: The GASTRO FEASTIVAL — Ghana’s boldest celebration of food, culture, and innovation.

A “feast of a festival,” the Gastro Feastival isn’t just an event—it’s a movement that’s reconnecting Ghanaians with the soil, spotlighting agribusiness opportunities, and rewriting the story of food in Ghana.

The Conversations Have Begun… “Table of 8” is Serving Food for Thought

Before the grand feast, the dialogue has already begun with the Gastro Feastival “Table of 8” podcast series — From Farm to Feast. Each week, farmers, investors, chefs, and policymakers gather around the table to ignite conversation, exchange insight, and explore innovation across Ghana’s food value chain.

Hosted by Enyonam Manye, the Ghanaian Farmer, the premiere episode served up a culinary deep dive into Cassava—our overlooked “white gold.”

With Farmer Abeiku Whyte of Farmers Market and Hobby Farms, Agro-Processor Charity Adupong of Meannan Foods, Kosmos Innovation Centre’s Esther Kyerewaa Twumasi, Ameyaw Debrah – social media personality and foodie, Kojo Aidoo of Frontback & Accra Bar Show, Charterhouse CEO Theresa Ayoade – the Convenor, and PaJohn the host.

It was an evening rich in flavour, laughter, and revelation with ingredients courtesy of Farmers Market and Meanan Foods.

    The menu?

A cassava-inspired three-course adventure — from yuca roti with herby mushrooms to silky bankyi mash with grilled cassava fish in PJ’s signature kobi sauce, ending in a cassava-infused cheesecake with passion fruit.

Each bite told a story — of Ghana’s soil, ingenuity, and untapped potential. It was curated by PaJohn’s, in collaboration with Chef Solomon Otoo Tetteh.

Beyond the Table — A Movement Is Growing

Each “Table of 8” episode will explore a different crop — tracing food’s journey from cultivation to creativity. It’s not just about what’s on the plate, but the people, processes, and possibilities behind it.

As Project Lead Priscilla Badake puts it:

“This December, food will meet innovation, street flavor will meet fine dining, and jollof will meet global cuisine. Every bite will be a vibe!”

    Expect:

Live Chef Throwdowns & Cooking Competitions, Drinks Arena and FOOD CHILL ZONES ; Street Food Alley, Ghanaian Village, International Flavour Fiesta, A Dessert Corner, Healthy Options,

    Masterclasses & Big Food Conversations,

    Farm-to-Feast Tours, Food Demos,
