President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Francis Kojo Kwarteng Arthur as Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA).

The appointee has outlined a strategic vision to enhance Ghana’s export competitiveness and align with President John Mahama’s agenda for accelerated export-led growth.

Speaking at a handing-over ceremony on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Kwarteng Arthur underscored the need for staff to collaborate with him in implementing policies that will expand non-traditional exports and strengthen Ghana’s position in global markets.

He commended the outgoing CEO, Osafohene Dr. Afua Asabea Asare I, along with her deputies and the broader GEPA team, for their contributions to the sector.

In her remarks, Dr. Asare expressed gratitude to management and staff for their support during her tenure.

She admonished them to remain committed to GEPA’s long-term goals under the new leadership.
