Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini was the star of the show on Saturday, May 17, 2025, as he netted a brilliant brace to lead Union Saint-Gilloise to a resounding 4-0 victory over Royal Antwerp in the Belgian Pro League.

The 22-year-old attacker showcased his explosive talent and finishing prowess in a match that reaffirmed Union SG’s title ambitions.

Fuseini wasted no time making an impact, opening the scoring just six minutes into the game with a composed finish that set the tone for the home side’s dominance.

He struck again in the 35th minute, latching onto a fine pass to double his tally and give Union SG a commanding 2-0 lead going into halftime.

The second half saw Union SG continue their ruthless display, adding two more goals to complete a memorable rout of the defending champions.

Fuseini’s movement, pace, and eye for goal were a constant threat to the Antwerp backline throughout the encounter.

Since joining Union SG, Fuseini has grown into a vital figure for the club. He has recorded nine goals and one assist in 32 league games so far.

His latest performance is not only a personal milestone but also a boost for Ghanaian football, as he continues to make waves in Europe.

With the season nearing its climax, Fuseini’s form could prove crucial in Union SG’s push for silverware.
