    Reality TV star Doyin David, also known as Esmeralda, who appeared in Big Brother Level Up, discloses that she will never appear in another reality TV show.

    She shared her reasoning for this decision in a recent interview with Trendupp Africa, where she revealed that her appearance in BBNaija took a serious toll on her mental health, from which she is still recovering.

    Due to the scrutiny and criticism she received from Nigerian viewers watching the show, not even the cash prize from the show could justify her participation.

    She also exposed the creators of the show for maliciously editing footage from the show to stir up drama, which usually cast her and some other participants in a bad light, leading to hate from viewers.

    She did add that she might reconsider her stance if the show was to take place outside the country.

    In her own words;

    “My experience being on a reality show was mad. Very very crazy experience. I will never do it again in my life, not for any amount. Except it is a show outside the country,

    They portray you the way they want to. They have given everybody an impression of you that are not really true.

    A lot of people think some things about my personality, that is not really who I’m at all. But Nigerians are too judgmental, so I’m not blessing them with my presence ever again.”
