A Ghanaian man who once pursued a music career has made headlines in the United Kingdom after being arrested in a rather unfortunate saga.

Kofi Offeh, who happens to be a former musician popularly known as Kofi Nino, was taken away by immigration enforcement officers alongside two women after weeks of camping illegally in the Scottish Borders.

Kofi Offeh, who is originally from Ghana, had reinvented himself as King Atehene, leader of a self-styled African tribe known as the Kingdom of Kubala.

Per the reports, he has been living in a makeshift camp near Jedburgh with his partner, Jean Gasho, 42, from Zimbabwe, who styled herself as Queen Nandi, and Kaura Taylor, 21, from Texas, who they described as their handmaiden and Offeh’s second wife.

For now, it is confirmed that authorities moved in on Thursday morning, following months of eviction notices and a fresh court order banning them from reoccupying private land.

Images seen by zionfelix.net, showed Offeh in handcuffs being escorted by officers into a waiting van, while Taylor was also detained. Gasho, who livestreamed much of the encounter, was not physically arrested but left the site with them.

The trio attracted global attention after declaring that they were the rightful occupants of Scotland, claiming that they were retaking land supposedly stolen from their ancestors more than 400 years ago.

They regularly posted videos online of their woodland lifestyle, which included ritual bathing, chanting, and dancing, while also demanding offerings of food and drink from visitors before granting them an audience with their so-called King.
