Seth Terkper’s wife Deborah Ferguson Terkper, died in the US
Former Minister of Finance, Seth Terkper, who is the current Economic Advisor to President John Dramani Mahama, has lost his wife, Deborah Ferguson Terkper.
A funeral announcement shared by the former minister on social media indicated that his wife died in the United States on July 7, 2025.
“The Anona Ebusua of Atwereboanda, the Terkpernor family of Somanya, the Grant, Hagan, Terkper and allied families regret to announce the sudden home call of their wife, mother, sister, cousin and relative, Mrs Deborah Ferguson Terkper,” parts of the announcement read.
Reports indicate that the late Ferguson Terkper was 63 years old at the time of her passing.
The family has requested privacy during this difficult period and expressed gratitude for the support and prayers they have received.
It also stated that the funeral arrangements will be announced later.
