Mohammed Kudus’ form dipped in the 2024/25 Premier League season

Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus has been criticised by some Ghanaians for his underwhelming performance in the 2024/2025 Premier League season.

The attacker scored five goals and provided four assists in 35 matches for West Ham United in all competitions, with 32 of those matches being in the Premier League.

These statistics show a drastic decline in the player’s performance compared to his previous season, where he made 48 appearances, scoring 18 goals and making 10 assists in the 2023/2024 Premier League season.

This triggered some concerned football fans to express their disappointment in the Ghanaian attacker for his inability to maintain his form from the previous season.

Others chastised Kudus for the abysmal performance, which did not help his club West Ham United, who struggled during the course of the season.

However, there were those who jumped to the player’s defense, arguing that the role he was assigned since Julen Lopetegui took charge of the club did not allow him to unleash his attacking prowess, thereby limiting his goal-scoring ability.
