Black Sherif is a Ghanaian musician

Ghanaian musician, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, popularly known as Black Sherif, has expressed his opinion about vengeance.

In an interview with Dose Society shared by Empire on X on August 29, 2025, Black Sherif reflected on how he had earlier sought revenge on some individuals who wronged him during the early days in his career.

He explained that he has, however, had a change of mind because growth has taught him a lesson.

“Growing up has changed my life because when I was a kid and even somewhere in high school, I still had grudges in me, and some people have wronged me, and I was like, when I grow up, I will show them.

“But then I grew up and I found out showing them isn’t something I really wanted to do because I have responsibilities. And I have clarity of my direction and where I want to take my life to,” he said.

The musician who recently released his “Iron Boy” album further advised his fan base to centre their energy towards love and hustle rather than revenge.

“You won’t that time, so don’t worry thinking about it… Center your things around love, hustle, and family, and everything. You need to love your hustle because you need to keep showing up, and if it is not something you love, you will work up someday and not show up,” he added.
