Floyd Mayweather gushed over Donald Trump on stage in Arizona – after the President praised the boxer’s good looks.
Mayweather flew on Air Force One to Bullhead City, Arizona for a campaign rally held to support Republican candidates ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.
The undefeated fighter was the latest sports star to join Trump on the campaign trail and drew high praise as he was introduced.
‘One of the greatest fighters in boxing history,’ Trump said, calling Mayweather an ‘unbelievable defensive fighter.’
‘That’s why he looks so good,’ Trump continued, before adding as he walked up to the stage: ‘Look at this guy, he looks so good. Who would believe he’s a fighter? He looks so good! He doesn’t have a mark!’
And the high praise was reciprocated, as Mayweather declared: ‘We couldn’t have chosen a better president twice than Donald Trump.’

Mayweather delivered praise of Trump as he called America the ‘greatest country in the world’
Mayweather had started his address by telling the crowd: ‘America is the greatest country in the world. If I died and came back a million times, I would always choose America.
‘It was great to represent this country in the 1996 Olympic Games,’ Mayweather said. ‘To go out there and represent the red, white, and blue.’
He then turned his praise to Trump before adding: ‘So it’s all about keeping this country strong, sticking together, and believing in one another. America is the greatest country in the world. Thank you.’
Mayweather, 49, a Vegas native, happens to have strong business ties in Arizona.
Dennis Rodman, Mike Tyson, Jake Paul, Roger Clemens and Jon Gruden have all made appearances at recent rallies in support of Trump.
Mayweather has long been an outspoken supporter of Trump, hailing him the ‘best president in US history’ last year.
He attended Trump’s first inauguration as president and supported him throughout his first term in the Oval Office.
Policy-wise, Mayweather and Trump have been aligned on a few issues, including in the Middle East. Mayweather is a staunch supporter of Israel and donated $1million to the United Hatzalah of Israel in 2024.

What do you think motivates celebrities like Mayweather to publicly align themselves with political figures?
‘We had Trump before, we didn’t appreciate him,’ Mayweather told Fox Business in February of last year. ‘I think Trump is a great president, actually he’s the best president in my eyes, he’s the best president we’ve ever had. Great business man and that’s what it’s about.’
‘Trump has done an amazing job and a lot of people around America are upset. But no matter who goes into the White House, we’re always upset. And I think Trump is the man for the job, he’s the best president in my eyes.’
Mayweather’s fellow boxing icon Tyson also joined Trump on the Presidential aircraft last week, making the journey from the White House to Syracuse, New York.
During his speech at the rally, Trump spotted Tyson in the crowd and invited the former boxing champion on stage.
‘I think we have to call him up, Mike Tyson, will you get up here?’ Trump said.
As the President’s athletic guest of the day, Tyson praised Trump in front of the Syracuse crowd, thanking him during a brief moment on stage.
‘Thank you, thank you very much. I’m just happy to be up here with my president, President Trump. There’s no way in the world I would ever be here if it wasn’t for a president like Donald Trump,’ Tyson said.
Trump was also joined by NBA icon Rodman in Durant, Oklahoma, and former NFL coach Gruden and influencer-turned-boxer Paul in Youngstown, Ohio.
He announced his intention to award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to MLB legend Clemens when the former pitcher joined him at a rally in San Antonio, Texas.
