A video of Mr Eazi recalling how he met Temi Otedola through her sister, DJ Cuppy, at an event in London has resurfaced online.
The clip, which is an excerpt from an old interview he had with Ghanaian TV presenter Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay), was dug up following Mr Eazi’s recent wedding to Temi.
“I’m in love with her, and I am hoping for it to go as far as possible. I met her in London. Her sister was playing at an event somewhere in Knightsbridge, and she invited me. When I went, she was DJing, so it was just me and Temi.
“I knew I was talking to my friend’s sister. I didn’t know how much her father was worth, it never crossed my mind. It’s the person you know,” he explained during the 2018 interview.
Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi’s Wedding: Five highlights that got everyone talking
The video has since sparked admiration online, with many praising Mr Eazi for valuing Temi for who she is, rather than for her billionaire father’s status.
In the same interview, Mr Eazi also revealed his ideal wedding style, which, interestingly, aligned with how their actual ceremony turned out.
“Anytime I think of a wedding, it’s some coded place, like an island with just close family and friends. Maybe 50 people max. Something romantic with flowers and candles. Where no camera is allowed,” he said.
Mr Eazi’s vision came to life in 2025, when the couple held three intimate wedding ceremonies across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, with limited guests and carefully curated experiences.
