From L to R: Stonebwoy, Fameye, KiDi and Maame Tiwaa at TGMA 2025 From L to R: Stonebwoy, Fameye, KiDi and Maame Tiwaa at TGMA 2025

Some performances at the just ended Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2025 entertained and left a mark. At this year’s Ghana Music Awards, a few artistes went beyond expectations and gave the kind of performances that had everyone talking online.

From vocals to creative stage setups and emotional moments, these acts reminded patrons why live music still matters.

In this article, GhanaWeb takes a look at five performances that stood out and got fans buzzing on social media for all the right reasons.

    Daughters of Glorious Jesus

There’s a special kind of feeling that happens when legends step into their element. The group who was clad in elegant white and radiating timeless poise, delivered harmonies that entertained and touched something deeper within.

The atmosphere was serene yet filled with emotion, creating a moment that felt almost spiritual.

Their performance stirred memories and emotions alike. The trio took the audience on a journey, evoking nostalgia.

    Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy’s performance was unforgettable, one of those moments that stick with you. It all started with a powerful, poetic intro from his hypeman that set the tone.

Then came the main act, and Stonebwoy proved once again why he owns the big stage. From flawless vocals, dancers, to props, he brought everything together with serious skill.

Even after ten years in the game, he performs with the hunger of someone still chasing greatness.

    Maame Tiwaa

When Maame Tiwaa walked onto the TGMA stage, everything seemed to pause. In the middle of all the lights and excitement, she brought a peaceful, heartfelt moment.

Her performance was a tribute to gospel music legend Yaw Sarpong, who couldn’t be there due to health reasons. As his longtime musical partner, she stepped up and sang with so much love and respect, it felt like he was right there with her.

Maame Tiwaa’s voice carried Yaw Sarpong’s legacy beautifully, and when the crowd joined in, singing along, it felt more like a church service than an award show.

    Fameye

Fameye’s performance stood out for all the right reasons. His stage setup included a creative touch, a scene that looked like a typical traditional home.

His dancers brought energy to the stage, adding life to the story he was telling.

The “Very Soon” hitmaker didn’t just deliver good music, he made the audience feel every note.

Fameye’s set list opened up about pain, hope, and healing.

    KiDi

KiDi hit the stage in style, rocking a denim outfit, brown Timberland boots, and a brown cowboy hat.

He brought on stage everything fans love about him: smooth vocals, charm, and that confident, flirty energy.

KiDi’s set had a lot of visual appeal too, with sharp outfit changes, colorful lights, and dancers from Dancegod Lloyd’s academy who matched his vibe perfectly.

KiDi’s stage presence felt natural, and he won the heart of more fans with how well his performance was.
