Kumasi was literally shut down on the night of September 27, 2025, as award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, hosted his annual concert, Rapperholic, in his home region.

The night boasted of massive crowds and top-notch artistes from Kumasi and Accra, who electrified fans with their biggest hits.

Amid the razzle, there were some moments during the concert that brought smiles, laughter, and in some cases, tears to those who attended.

Rapperholic 2025: Massive crowds defy heavy rains for Kumasi’s biggest night in music

    1. Sarkodie‘s entrance:

The entrance of the main act for the night was like none other. Sarkodie‘s entrance started with a powerful poetry performance, introducing King Sark before a massive crown and Sarkodie‘s nickname, ‘Obidi’, on fire, displayed on the massive background display.

    2. Sarkodie playfully shoves Shatta Wale on the stage

One of the most talked-about entries was when Shatta Wale stormed the stage with Sarkodie in a theatrical reunion.

But he did more than just walk up. In clips circling online, Sarkodie gave Shatta Wale a playful shove, as the crowd went wild.

    3. Medikal chases Shatta Wale mid-dance

During the joint performance with Shatta Wale and Medikal, something wild unfolded.

Shatta Wale was seen joining the dancers to showcase his moves on stage.

Medikal, who was at the forefront giving his performance, spotted Shatta and chased Shatta in the heat of the moment.

The move caught many off guard and became a viral clip almost immediately.

    4. Sarkodie kneels before Obrafour in reverence

In a deeply memorable and emotional moment, Sarkodie knelt in front of Ghanaian music legend, Obrafour, during the latter’s surprise appearance.

Videos show Sarkodie bowed low as Obrafour performed, acknowledging him in a gesture of respect and humility.

    5. Sarkodie and Kweku Flick

No recap of the night is complete without mentioning the energetic synergy between Sarkodie and Kweku Flick.

They lit up the stage together, with tight choreography, interplay, crowd call-and-responses, and sharp delivery.

    Check out the videos below:

Sarkodie’s arrival on stage at Rapperholic 2025 was unlike anything Ghana music has ever seen — a Twi poet’s call, an AI crown glowing above, and a deep connection to culture made this the King’s most unforgettable moment yet. pic.twitter.com/Q4UyqUEuYC

The King himself, @sarkodie , shared the stage with Kweku Flick for an electrifying performance at the Rapperholic Homecoming Edition in Kumasi last night. 👑🎤
