The Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) has elected a new executive team, with Frederick Fifii Hayford emerging as the President. The newly elected leaders were sworn in following a well-participated election that brought together key stakeholders in Ghana’s film industry.

President Hayford’s executive team comprises seasoned professionals, including Michael Ola as Vice President, Francis Donkoh as Secretary, Aaron Ohemeng as Public Relations Officer, Mariam Akyrere Donkoh as Treasurer, and Jackson Bentum and Alhassan Yushawu as Executive Members.

In an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello Entertainment Review, President Hayford outlined his vision for FIPAG, emphasizing unity, transparency, and modernization. He stressed the importance of inclusivity, particularly engaging skit makers and digital creators who are increasingly contributing to the entertainment industry.

“We believe involving everyone will bring renewed strength to the industry,” President Hayford said. “Our focus is to unify the film industry, including skit creators who are now contributing massively to entertainment.”

To ensure transparency and accountability, the new executive team will consult industry experts and professionals. President Hayford also highlighted plans to partner with local TV stations to establish fair revenue-sharing models for producers.

“It’s time filmmakers earn revenue for their creative investments,” he emphasized. “We will engage broadcasters to create fair revenue-sharing models.”
