The final funeral rites of Dr Edward Omane Boamah are currently underway, with preparations at the venue progressing steadily in the Eastern Region.

Videos circulating online show the venue beautifully decorated ahead of the ceremony. Workers were seen arranging chairs, fixing drapes, setting up canopies, and putting final touches in place to welcome mourners.

Many dignitaries, including President John Dramani Mahama, are expected to attend the ceremony to pay their last respects to the former minister, who is remembered for his service and contributions to national development.

Sympathisers have already begun arriving, and the atmosphere reflects both sadness and deep respect as the funeral rites continue.
