FIFA has officially confirmed the schedule for the next phase of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, with Ghana set to play two decisive matches in September.
The Black Stars will head to N’Djamena to take on Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on Thursday, September 4, at 13:00 GMT for Matchday 7. They will then return to Accra to host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, at 19:00 GMT for Matchday 8.
Ghana currently sits at the top of Group I with 15 points, three ahead of Comoros and five ahead of Madagascar, after winning five and losing one of their six matches so far.
These upcoming games are crucial for Otto Addo’s men as they look to tighten their grip in the first place ahead of the final round of qualifiers in October.
