Popular Kumawood actor, Wayoosi has addressed the ongoing feud between his colleagues, Mr. Beautiful and Agya Koo.

The two actors were at loggerheads during the campaign season leading up to the 2024 December 7 general elections.

Many netizens and fans believe that the feud is due to their respective political affiliations that are on opposite sides.

However, in a recent interview on Kumasi-based RTV Ghana, Wayoosi clarified that contrary to popular belief, the conflict between the two is not about politics.

“The feud between the two of them is not just about politics; it is also about disrespect. I can’t say who disrespected who, but it is about disrespect,” Wayoosi stated.

He explained that the tension began on a movie set when producers appeared to favour one actor over the other, leading to feelings of disrespect.

“It started when some producers on the set began treating one person better than the other. The other person felt disrespected. That’s where the feud began. It’s not about politics,” he reiterated.

    What happened?

Mr. Beautiful, who is an avid supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), had been throwing shots at Agya Koo, a supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), accusing him of peddling lies about NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama.

Agya Koo, in response, accused Mr. Beautiiful of seeking clout to revive his dead career.
