A supporter of English Championship side, Leicester City has hailed attacker Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s terrific performances in the ongoing 2025/26 season.

The fan noted that Issahaku’s brilliant performances make him their best player compared to the rest of his teammates, following his recent recovery from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.

He indicated that if the Black Stars winger continues his excellent form, he would lead their charge to qualify for the Premier League after suffering a setback in the 2024/25 season.

“That guy is amazing; from the first time I saw him against Toronto, he just cut inside and smashed it against the post, so I knew that guy was going to be a player. So hopefully, he will take us to the Premier League.

“He is probably the best player we have, and he still has so much to give, so I want to thank him for everything he has done in the Championship. May he continue in great form now that he has just returned from injury,” he said in a viral video shared on TikTok.

Issahaku has been in blistering form, having scored two top-notch goals for Leicester City in the Championship this season.

The player was omitted from the Black Stars squad for the September 2025 World Cup qualifiers to enable him to recover fully from his injury.
