Fast-rising Ghanaian musician and performer, Kwaku Tugabwoy, has clinched the prestigious Songwriter of the Year award at the just-ended Central Entertainment and Business Awards 2025. The event, which took place on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, was held at the iconic Centre for National Culture (CNC) in Cape Coast and organized by IEvents Ghana.

Kwaku Tugabwoy earned the accolade with his powerful and relatable hit single “Trap Out”, featuring Xnaiq. The song has resonated with fans for its lyrical depth, authenticity, and unique sound—a blend of contemporary trap and Ghanaian storytelling.

The award win marks a major milestone in Tugabwoy’s fast-growing career. Known for his relentless work ethic and creative spirit, the young star has been grinding tirelessly in the industry and steadily building a name for himself through powerful lyrics and dynamic stage performances.

In a short statement after his win, Kwaku Tugabwoy expressed deep gratitude to his team, collaborators, fans, and especially Xnaiq for being part of the journey. He promised to keep raising the bar and putting the Central Region on the musical map.

The night was filled with energy, excitement, and a celebration of raw talent—and Kwaku Tugabwoy’s win was undoubtedly one of the biggest highlights.
