A rare glimpse into the musical journey of legendary highlife icon, Daddy Lumba, has surfaced on social media, stirring emotions among fans.

In a trending TikTok video, a group of admirers of the late musician visited his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, at her residence in Germany.

As part of the warm reception, Akosua Serwaa led the visitors on a tour of Daddy Lumba’s very first recording studio — the place where his timeless career began to take shape.

The studio, though preserved with a sense of nostalgia, still contains an impressive collection of music production equipment.

Items such as a sound mixer, preamps, a computer, and a piano stood as silent witnesses to the countless hours of creativity that produced some of Lumba’s greatest works.

Adding to the emotional scene, several Compact Discs (CDs) were neatly stacked on a shelf, reflecting the prolific output of the artist who dominated the Ghanaian and African music scene for decades.

On one section of the studio, an old family photograph of Daddy Lumba with Akosua Serwaa, a baby, and another woman was displayed, giving visitors a personal touch of the star’s life beyond the stage.
