The management of popular Ghanaian musician Fameye has released an official press statement addressing the recent viral video of the artist expressing frustration during his performance in the United Kingdom.

The incident, which showed Fameye visibly angry at a DJ who allegedly disrupted his set, has sparked widespread discussion among fans and industry players.

According to the statement, the issues arose from a lack of professionalism by the DJ hired for the event.

Fameye’s management revealed that multiple attempts were made to bring either his official DJ from Ghana or Belgium to ensure a seamless performance. However, event organizers insisted on using a pre-booked DJ, a decision that contradicted the standards of the Fameye brand.

While acknowledging that technical issues can occur during live shows, the management described the DJ’s conduct as “disappointing and disrespectful” to both Fameye and his audience. The mishap disrupted what was supposed to be a memorable experience for fans.

Despite these challenges, Fameye prioritized his respect for his fans by agreeing to perform under the event organizers’ terms.

Unfortunately, this compromise affected the quality of his performance, leaving both the artist and his team dissatisfied with the outcome.

The statement emphasized Fameye’s dedication to delivering exceptional performances and his commitment to his craft. However, the management also called on event organizers to adopt higher professional standards to avoid similar incidents in the future.

The management also expressed gratitude to fans for their understanding and reiterated Fameye’s commitment to providing the best experiences in future performances.
