Ghanaian musician Fameye has opened up on how he would have reacted if he found himself in the same situation as fellow artiste King Paluta during his recent controversial performance in London.

Speaking in an interview with Kwame Dadzie on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz entertainment review show on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Fameye revealed that although he understands what King Paluta faced on the said night, he does not necessarily agree with how his colleague reacted.

According to Fameye, he has experienced similar situations during his own performances, where certain individuals in the audience appear uninterested or even try to suck away his spirit with their energy.

However, Fameye noted that with what he describes as his famous Peter spirit, he has developed his own unique way of handling such negativity.

He disclosed that mostly what he does is rather to get closer to such people and sing in their faces, smile at them, and turn that negative energy into something positive.

Fameye was, however, quick to add that since he wasn’t present at King Paluta’s show that day, he wouldn’t be too quick to judge him.

Reader will recall that King Paluta recently faced heavy backlash after a video from the All White Boat Party in London went viral. During his performance, the “Aseda” hitmaker paused to angrily insult a female guest who appeared unimpressed with his act.
