Ghanaian artiste Fameye has disclosed plans for the remix of his song ‘Very Soon’.

He revealed in an interview with Delay that he would like to feature a Nigerian or American rapper on the remix of the song.

He is hoping to have either Lil Wayne, J. Cole or Nigerian artistes Davido or Asake.

“I am working on featuring a Nigerian or American rapper on my ‘Very Soon’ remix. The American rappers I’m interested in are Lil Wayne and J. Cole, and for Nigerian artists, it would be Davido or Asake… Social media users started coming for me when I said I resonated with Asake. I felt their comments were unnecessary, so I didn’t take them seriously,” he stated.

Looking at the works done in 2024, Fameye is eyeing to win more than two awards at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

“I don’t deserve just one award because I worked hard in 2024. So, I’m not only focusing on ‘Very Soon!… I’m also aiming for best video, best collaborations, most popular song of the year, and even artist of the year, plus songwriter of the year,” he said.
