Ghanaian songstress Sista Afia has expressed disappointment in her colleagues in the music industry over the lack of support following the release of her latest single, “Krekete Soja,” featuring award-winning Amerado.

In a social media post sighted on her walls on Saturday, February 1, 2025, she lamented how many of her so-called friends in the industry have failed to promote the song, despite her continuous support for their projects.

“I released a tune #KreketeSoja and most of my so-called colleagues/friends haven’t even posted or shared to show their support. But they will run to me when they need my help. Funny people, smh! I’m watching y’all,” she wrote.

Her statement has instantly sparked conversations among fans, with many agreeing that the Ghanaian music industry lacks genuine support among artists.

Others on the other hand believe that Sista Afia, being a strong force in the industry, should not have to beg for promotion from fellow musicians.

Despite the apparent lack of industry support, Krekete Soja is gaining traction following the release of a video by Kojo Myles on Friday, January 31, 2024.
