The quarter-final stage of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup delivered drama and exciting moments as four teams secured places in the semi-finals after matches played at the Cape Coast Stadium and Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park across Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, Aduana FC produced a dominant display to defeat Techiman Liberty Youth FC 3-0. The ‘Fire Boys’ took the lead in the 38th minute through Burkinabe forward Daouda Sedibe, heading into the break with a 1-0 advantage.

Captain Alex Boakye missed a penalty earlier in the match but later made amends with a fine header in the 81st minute to double the lead. Emmanuel Marfo then wrapped up the victory with a late strike to seal a convincing win.

Sunday’s action saw Dreams FC edge past Heart of Lions 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw through regulation and extra time. Seedorf Asante opened the scoring with a close-range finish to give Lions the lead before Suraj Seidu curled home a late equaliser to force the game to extra time.

In the other quarter-final, Nations FC and Berekum Chelsea played out a goalless draw after both regulation and extra time. Nations FC eventually prevailed 4-3 on penalties to book their place in the last four.

At the Cape Coast Stadium, Medeama SC defeated Attram De Visser Academy 3-0, thanks to an extra-time hat-trick from Kelvin Nkrumah. Despite the convincing scoreline, the match proved far more difficult for the Premier League side than the result suggests.
