There have been viral reports about renowned journalist and CEO of Kofi TV, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani getting shot in the eyes and undergoing specialized medical treatment in Dubai to address a critical injury sustained in the last few hours.

Well, in an exclusive report sighted on myjoyonline.com reveal that the journalist’s injury occurred during a traditional funeral ceremony in Dormaa, located in the Bono Region, last week.

According to the report, the unfortunate incident happened during the firing of musketry by some chiefs at the event.

While repositioning himself at the ceremony, Kofi Adomah was struck in the face by gunpowder from one of the guns that had just been discharged.

The impact caused severe damage to one of his eyes, rendering him unable to see through it.

It was added that additionally, Kofi’s other eye was affected, leading to blurry vision, as confirmed by a source close to him.

After receiving initial medical care in Ghana, the celebrated journalist was flown to Dubai to seek advanced treatment in an attempt to restore his vision.

“He’s now in Dubai seeing to restoring the one eye that is blurry. But it looks like the other one cannot see again,” a source reportedly disclosed to myjoyonline.

The fresh details we have gathered suggest that Kofi Adomah is currently stable and receiving treatment at the hospital in Dubai.
