Businesswoman Kwaatemaa has broken her silence on her much-talked-about fallout with Snapchat star Dulcie Boateng, insisting their once vibrant friendship has run its course.
Speaking on The Delay Show, Kwaatemaa recalled how their relationship blossomed online before the COVID-19 pandemic, eventually growing into a close bond that saw them travelling together to countries such as Singapore and the UAE.
“At the peak of the friendship, it was nice and lovely. We were very close, even to the point of doing sleepovers. When times were good, our friendship was good,” she recounted.
According to her, despite occasional fights, they always managed to resolve issues. However, she believes every friendship has its lifespan.
“Friendship is a season. Sometimes you continue, but there are times you end it all. Regardless, it shouldn’t mean you become enemies. I felt we got to the point where we needed to end it,” she explained.

Kwaatemaa strongly denied allegations that she resorted to spiritual means (“juju”) against Dulcie or that she engaged in gossip or backbiting.
She also dismissed claims that she was part of any so-called “gang” surrounding Dulcie.
When asked about speculations that she felt pressured by Dulcie’s display of wealth on social media, Kwaatemaa rejected the suggestion outright.
“I don’t succumb to pressure. I move at my own pace. If I showcase my buildings, it’s not because she did so. The fact that she posted before me doesn’t mean I’m doing so because she did. I can buy whatever she buys but I do things when I want to,” she stated firmly.
On whether reconciliation could ever be possible, Kwaatemaa was categorical, “No, never. It’s a lifetime thing.”
Her remarks put to rest hopes of the once inseparable friends rekindling their bond, signalling a definite close to one of the most talked-about friendships in Ghana’s social media space.
