Ghanaian music duo Lali X Lola have expressed excitement after renowned music producer Guilty Beatz mentioned their song “Pepper Dem” as one of his current favourites.

Speaking during an interview on the Stay by Plan podcast, hosted by Afi and Zuu, the Grammy Award-winning producer was asked to name a song he’s currently enjoying or would recommend. In response, he mentioned “Pepper Dem” by Lali X Lola.

Following the interview, the duo took to their Instagram page to thank Guilty Beatz for supporting their music.

They shared their joy over the recognition, stating that it means a lot to them that someone of his stature is paying attention to their work.

Highlighting the importance of such support, Lali X Lola encouraged others to listen to the song as well.

They also revealed that they had met Guilty Beatz in person before and described him as humble and approachable.

The duo expressed hope for a future collaboration with the acclaimed producer.

“If a whole Grammy Award-winning producer is listening to Pepper Dem, what’s your excuse? We actually met Guilty Beatz, and he’s so down to earth. Maybe one day, our stars will align and we can do a song together,” they shared.
