Former Ghana midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has shared his thoughts on how Mohammed Kudus got himself sent off during West Ham’s defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

Speaking in an interview with 3Sports, Badu said he believes emotions got the better of the Black Stars poster boy.

“Mistakes are a natural part of football, and he just needs encouragement and support. I truly believe he will become one of the greatest players to emerge from Africa.

“This year, he started off strong, but unfortunately, emotions got the better of him, resulting in a red card (against Tottenham),” Emmanuel Agyemang Badu said.

According to Badu, Mohammed Kudus will learn from the incident that resulted in his sending off to become a better player in the future.

“Being young, he will learn from this experience and improve. Gradually, we will see him progress and potentially join some of the greatest clubs in the world,” Emmanuel Agyemang Badu said.

Following that red card, Mohammed Kudus has already served a one-match suspension as the English FA looks into what has been described as a misconduct charge.
