Election guru Nate Silver makes his final midterm elections prediction… giving the GOP a glimmer of hope: Live updates

There are only three days left until the highly anticipated 2026 midterm elections, and this weekend is shaping up to be dramatic.

President Donald Trump scrapped his planned in-person rally for today and is instead working from the White House and hosting a series of tele-rallies across the country for vulnerable Republican candidates.

He’ll be traveling to Kansas and Iowa on Sunday to give the GOP a much-needed enthusiasm boost ahead of Tuesday.

According to prediction market Kalshi, Democrats are anticipated to overwhelmingly cinch power in Congress.

And top election guru Nate Silver has made his final prediction about what’s in store for Republicans… and why there’s still a glimmer of hope for the GOP.

Revealed: Democrat operative at the center of Alaska Senate race scandal

A mysterious Democrat operative who has worked behind the scenes on a slew of campaigns is in the spotlight after allegations surfaced about a scheme to spoil the Alaska Senate race.

The race has become a key one to watch this midterm cycle, as Democrat Mary Peltola hopes to flip a seat and oust incumbent Republican Dan Sullivan.

Eyebrows were raised earlier this year when another Dan Sullivan appeared on the ballot, seemingly plucked from obscurity.

Less than a week before Election Day, an investigation revealed that the coincidence was more likely a careful plot meant to confuse voters and spoil the election in Peltola’s favor.

A recent investigation named Jerid Kurtz as the go-between who seemingly recruited candidates, including the ‘second’ Sullivan to run for Senate.

Judge orders taxpayer-funded Trump ads to be pulled from TV and social media labeled ‘propaganda’ including one with the president’s biggest midterm promise

The federal government was ordered to pull three taxpayer-funded Trump administration ads.

A judge ruled Friday that the ads appear to include political or propaganda purposes – including one ad which claims that every American adult will get $5,000 if Republicans win both houses of Congress on November 3.

Trump forced to pause rally as he struggled to keep his eyes open

President Donald Trump was forced to halt a pre-midterms campaign rally in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Friday to wipe his eye as he struggled to keep it open, just days before voters head to the polls.

Trump paused to wipe his eye with a napkin he dipped in a cup of water about halfway through the event, briefly interrupting his remarks to supporters ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections.
