Ekow Black, the TikTok content creator whose real name is Christford Affadu Danful, was granted bail after appearing in Adabraka Magistrate Court over domestic assault allegations.

The 25-year-old, who is currently unemployed, faces an assault charge under Section 84 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).

Prosecutors allege that Ekow Black attacked Rachel Oduro without her consent, intending to cause her pain. The complaint states the alleged beating occurred on November 30, 2026, within the Accra Magisterial District.

The case gained widespread attention after a video of the alleged assault surfaced on social media. Ekow Black insists the incident happened several months before the clip went viral.

In addition to assault, he reportedly faces further accusations, including threats to share intimate images and sextortion.

The court set bail at GH¢30,000 with sureties and directed that Ekow Black return for his next hearing on February 10, 2026.
